A couple of weeks ago we went to White Sands National Monument in southern New Mexico. Among all the amazing things we saw, this tiny lizard was the only “life” skittering around the dunes.
Is it wrong I wanted to make something out of him, just like I lusted after the gorgeous skin of the “mutant albino alligators” at the end of Cave of Forgotten Dreams?
